Local man threatens to sue village The village of Oregon has denied a $150,000 claim for allegedly violating an Oregon man’s Constitutional rights in a Tasing incident this spring. Joseph Carow alleges that he was “subjected to unreasonable and unnecessary force” by Oregon Police Department officer Ted Gilbertson after the officer used a Taser to subdue Carow as he was walking up the driveway to his parents’ home in Oregon on the morning of March 16.
